Most engagement benchmarks online are opinions. These are measurements: anonymized, aggregate statistics computed from real employee survey responses collected on the Sparkbay platform over the last 12 months, refreshed every week.

Methodology

Each statistic uses one value per company (companies are never weighted by size, so no single organization can dominate or be inferred). A statistic is published only when it aggregates at least 8 distinct companies, and each company needs a minimum number of distinct respondents to contribute. Where there is enough data, results are split by company size at 1,000 employees; otherwise a single combined figure is shown. The window is the last 365 days and figures refresh weekly. No individual responses, company names or per-company values are ever published.
